A QAnon leader who convinced his devotees that President John F. Kennedy and JFK Jr. were still alive — and that Donald Trump was JFK Jr. in disguise—died on June 30 in a motocross accident, according to a Minnesota medical examiner.

Now some of Michael Protzman’s remaining followers believe that much like the Kennedys, Protzman is also still living, according to Vice.

The controversial QAnon leader first came to national prominence in 2021, when he began to amass thousands of followers on social media, while writing under the name Negative48

Protzman, a small business owner, claimed to be able to predict the future and told his fans that in November 2021, the two Kennedys would reappear in Dealey Plaza, where the president was assassinated in 1963. John F. Kennedy Jr. died in a plane crash off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard in 1999.

Though his original prediction was proven false, Protzman still retained many of his followers, often tearing families apart in the process. Some followers have spoken to the media and explained the allure of traveling around the country, while studying Protzman’s ideas.

“We have traveled around together, some of us go home, some of us go back and forth, but collectively we’re all learning together from him,” Protzman follower Melissa Cole told the Washington Post.

“We’re standing for the 2020 election; it was stolen from us.”

Protzman’s inner circle desperately tried to conceal the reality of his accident and death from his followers, according to Vice.

They restricted their social media groups to ensure no one asks questions about Protzman’s condition and won’t allow any posts about his death until they have “absolute verification.”

This is in spite of the fact that Protzman’s death has now been officially recorded by the Minnesota Department of Health.

Some even believe that Protzman’s apparent death is merely part of a bigger plan.

“If that was the plan that God had for him, I know that everything is going to be revealed soon,” Protzman follower Shelly Mullinax told Vice. She believes that an evil version of Protzman was killed but the “good version” of Protzman – who is really JFK Jr. wearing a mask – is still living.
