Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe is not interested in joining Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal, according to multiple reports.

Al-Hilal reportedly made a world record €300million bid to sign Mbappe and also offered the player €700m.

French champions PSG are actively looking to sell the France captain after he made it clear he will not extend his contract beyond 2024.

The Ligue 1 giants reportedly believe Mbappe already has an agreement to join Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.

Los Blancos are being very quiet and relaxed during all of this, which does hint they believe the player is destined to join them, which appears to be more of a fact than a rumour at this stage.

There have been several reports suggesting Mbappe is not open to a transfer to the middle east, with one outlet claiming he would rather sit on the bench at Parc des Princes for an entire season.

It now appears this is the case, with L’Equipe the first to say Mbappe has rejected Al-Hilal before giving the club’s hierarchy the chance to convince him to join.

This has also been confirmed by RMC Sport, who say the 24-year-old has ‘refused Saudi Arabia’.

Despite Al-Hilal representatives being ‘in Paris’, Mbappe has ‘ruled out any discussion’ with the Saudi club.

This will be seen as a bitter blow to the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Hilal owners PIF willing to sign the player in a mouth-watering €1bn deal.

Furthermore, they were so eager to sign Mbappe that they only put a one-year offer on the table, allowing him to sign for Madrid on a free transfer at the end of 2023/24.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano added that the French superstar has “no intention to open talks” over a move to Al-Hilal.

He wrote on Twitter: “Despite Al Hilal delegation flying to Paris Kylian Mbappe has rejected to negotiate with Al Hilal.

“Mbappe has currently no intention to open talks despite €200m fixed salary proposal plus 100% image rights.

“PSG, convinced that Mbappe agreed terms with Real Madrid.”

It is literally anyone’s guess what happens now.

Other than Saudi Arabia, you can not see another sufficient one-year offer being put on the table.

Rotting on the PSG bench for the entire season seems to be the most likely outcome as things stand, even if club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is adamant the best player in the world will not be allowed to leave for nothing.
