Madonna has sparked concern from her fans with her latest pictures.

The 65-year-old Queen of Pop is currently in preparation for her world tour that has been rescheduled after she was hospitalised in June with a serious bacterial infection and spent several days in ICU. But fans can’t get over how different she looks in new videos posted online.

Fans are used to seeing the singer with chiselled cheekbones but in recent pictures her face looks fuller. “Jesus what happened to her,” one fan commented. Another wrote: “Her lips look painful.”

“People need to stop injecting their faces,” another added. A third wrote: “She’s got the wrong doctor giving her filler in the wrong places – all that money and she can’t get it right.”

When Madonna was discharged from hospital she worked on her recovery at her home in New York, surrounded by her children Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 17, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere. Following her health scare, Madonna was forced to postpone the start of her Celebration world tour, which marked 40 years since her debut self-titled album was released.

The pop icon has since rescheduled her tour, which is set to kick off at the O2 Arena in London. The Celebration Tour will begin with a four night stint at the O2 Arena in London from 14 October, before visiting 10 other cities including Copenhagen, Barcelona, Paris and Milan.

After news broke of her emergency hospital dash, Madonna took to social media to issue a statement, as she assured her fans she was on the mend following her stay in intensive care. “Thank you for your positive energy, prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote on Instagram.

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone. My focus is now my health and getting stronger and I can assure you, I’ll be back with you as soon as I can!” Madonna concluded. The star is preparing to go on her first tour in three years, and in August, she enjoyed a family celebration of her birthday in Lisbon, Portugal, where she was joined by her beloved kids.

“It’s great to be Alive … and Amazing to Be able to put on my dancing shoes and Celebrate my Birthday!’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘I’m So Grateful. Thank you Lisbon and to all who made it possible!” she said in a post on social media.
