CNN’s Manu Raju reported on the dramatic infighting that continues to roil the House GOP during an appearance on Anderson Cooper’s show on Wednesday night.

“The frustration within the House GOP is palpable,” Raju began, before playing a devastating highlight reel of Republicans fuming at their own dysfunction.

“We don’t truly have a majority at this point. You have a loosely, aligned coalition government right now, and it’s an incredible challenge,” said Rep. Garret Graves (R-LA).

Raju jumped back in to add some additional context, noting, “Bitter GOP infighting, derailing the GOP agenda and now threatening speaker Mike Johnson’s job as he weighs major decisions over the FBI spying powers and providing billions in aid to Ukraine, all as a threat to oust him, continues to loom as Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene escalates her attacks.”

“The motion to vacate is real. We can’t continue to be led by our elected speaker of the House. That’s passing the Democrat agenda. Our voters will not tolerate that,” said Greene in a clip from earlier in the day.

“All of it, enraging fellow Republicans,” Raju added.

“This is incredibly reckless. This is nothing more than just look at me. No one else is paying attention. So here’s my motion to vacate. And now it’s my time,” Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) told Raju.

“I think it’s an absurdity that’s unnecessary. And frankly, it was a mistake when this Congress allowed it to happen to Kevin McCarthy,” added Rep. Marc Molinaro (R-NY).

“It’s an impossible job. The Lord Jesus himself could not manage this conference. You just can’t do it,” fumed Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX).

Raju then summed up the various grievances that the MAGA-wing of the House GOP has with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA):

Johnson will soon see his razor-thin majorities shrink, giving him just one vote to spare. But the right wing continues to give Johnson fits. Furious over his deal-making with Democrats and warning him about his moves ahead, green outlined her anger in a scathing five-page letter attacking Johnson over his handling of a funding package to keep the government open. And this 70-minute meeting with Johnson today warning him not to move ahead with any more aid to Ukraine or a bill to renew the FBI’s warrantless surveillance authority, something former President Donald Trump successfully urged Republicans to kill earlier today.

Greene first threatened to introduce a motion to vacate the speakership, to remove Johnson from his post, after the House passed a bipartisan spending package last month to keep the government open. Greene later boasted about some of the earmarks in that package that brought federal funds into her district.

Johnson is set to join a press conference with Donald Trump on Friday, who is reportedly supporting the speaker and upset with Greene for possibly pushing the House into further chaos.
