RUDY Giuliani took a dramatic tumble as he fell into rows of empty chairs at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday evening.

A chair broke Giuliani’s fall and he appeared to grip the seats around him before attendees rushed to his assistance.

Giuliani was seen grimacing as he landed on the ground.

He appeared to veer toward the empty seats to get a closer look at something.

Trump 2024 signs rested on the convention floor seats near where Giuliani tripped.

Just seconds before his slip, he motioned to his back pocket.

Giuliani also appeared to be pointing toward the seat as he stumbled.

Several people walking near Giuliani rushed to help the former mayor to his feet.

But he appeared to fall further to the ground before being propped up.

It took three people to get Giuliani back on his feet.

After a few seconds, he appeared to walk off the fall and did not seem seriously injured.

He adjusted his glasses and continued walking, guided by several individuals.

LOOMING LEGAL TROUBLES

Giuliani is most famously known for serving as the New York City major from 1994-2001.

But he came back into political prominence in recent years for his support of Trump.

Giuliani also served as Trump’s personal lawyer and was indicted last August by the Fulton County District Attorney’s office on charges related to overturning the 2020 presidential election.

He was accused of racketeering and attempting to convince Georgia lawmakers to send electorates in favor of Trump.

Giuliani turned himself in and was released on bond, set at $150,000.

He told reporters outside the Fulton County Jail, “I am very, very honored to be involved in this case because this case is a fight for our way of life.”

“This indictment is a travesty. It’s an attack on — not just me, not just President Trump, not just the people in this indictment, some of whom I don’t even know – this is an attack on the American people.”

He added, “If they can do this to me, they can do this to you.”

ANOTHER INDICTMENT

Giuliani faced another indictment in Arizona in June that he conspired to overturn the 2020 election results.

A grand jury in the state indicted Giuliani and other Trump aides, including, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, legal adviser Boris Ephsteyn, and campaign aide Mike Roman.

They were indicted on charges of conspiracy, fraud, and forgery.

“I’ve been sued about 20 to 25 times by a very similar movement to this one, which is the, let’s see what we can do to destroy Donald Trump,” Giuliani said during his court appearance.

“I do consider this indictment a complete embarrassment to the American legal system, but I’ve shown no tendency not to comply.”

The former mayor found himself back in legal trouble this year for bankruptcy.

A federal judge in New York threw out the case on Friday, just days before the start of the RNC.

Giuliani faced a $148 million defamation judgment from Georgia election workers who he falsely accused of helping to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane dismissed Giuliani’s bid for bankruptcy protection citing his “uncooperative conduct” and lack of transparency.

Giuliani claimed in a February court hearing that Trump still owes him around $2 million in unpaid legal fees.

Rudy Giuliani’s public blunders

Rudy Giuliani rose to political prominence as the New York City Mayor and personal attorney for Donald Trump. He has endured multiple public blunders including:

  • Marrying second cousin – Giuliani married his second cousin, Regina Peruggi on October 26, 1968. They annulled their marriage in 1983.
  • Borat film – Giuliani was featured in Sacha Baron Cohen’s movie and was caught with his hands in his pants. An actress was pretending to be a television journalist and invited Giuliani to her hotel room. He appeared to lean back in a chair and unbutton his pants before Cohen interrupted the fake interview.
  • Four Seasons fiasco – While working for Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign, Giuliani accidentally held a press conference at the Four Seasons Total Landscaping instead of the Four Seasons Hotel.
  • Hair dye mishap – Giuliani’s hair dye appeared to melt down his face at a press conference in November 2020.
  • Farting at a hearing – A fart noise was heard over Giuliani’s microphone while he was questioned at a Michigan election fraud hearing in December 2020.
  • Airport shave – Giuliani was spotted in August 2021 shaving at JFK Airport in New York.
  • Masked Singer appearance – Giuliani competed in the 2022 season of The Masked Singer on Fox. Panelist Ken Jeong walked off stage when Giuliani was unmasked after singing under a Jack in the Box costume.

RNC APPEARANCE

Despite his legal troubles, Giuliani was seen smiling, talking to reporters, and greeting attendees at the RNC.

The convention began on Monday and will continue until Thursday.

Trump named Ohio Senator JD Vance his running mate for the 2024 presidential election at the start of the RNC.

Giuliani is among many top Republican names in attendance, including former UN ambassador Nikki Haley, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.

Trump is expected to take the stage for a highly-anticipated speech on the last day of the convention.
