Joe Rogan is no fan of Vice President Kamala Harris, but the podcaster and comedian said Harris “crushed” a recent speech in Atlanta, Georgia and it’s a “problem” for Donald Trump.

Rogan was joined on Wednesday’s episode of The Joe Rogan Experience by Adam Ray, a comedian who performed as President Joe Biden alongside comedian Shane Gillis as Donald Trump for the Killy Tony podcast, filmed at Rogan’s Austin comedy club Comedy Mothership.

While discussing how a debate between Trump and Harris will go, Rogan had a video of Harris speaking in Atlanta last month pulled up. In the speech, Harris taunted Trump and his then-threat to skip a debate with her.

“I do have to say that one speech she gave right after they decided she was going to be the nominee, that one speech where she said, if you’re going to say something, why don’t you say it to my face?’ It was great timing,” Rogan said.

He called it a “banger of a speech,” but also theorized that Harris has been heavily coached. The vice president has taken some criticism for not doing media hits since moving to the top of the Democratic Party’s ticket. Rogan predicted she may not hold up as well in a debate with the off-the-cuff Trump.

“When you’re just talking off the top of your head, that’s where she has some issues,” he said.

Rogan had the video of Harris’s speech pulled up in which she told Trump, “I do hope you’ll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage because as the saying goes, if you got something to say, say it to my face!”

“You can’t say that’s not outstanding. She just crushed it. She crushed it. She had the big moment and she crushed it. She did it without any ums or stammers, no fucking missed words, she had a smile, the laugh made sense — it made sense there for the first time!” Rogan said in reaction.

Rogan called Harris’s successful performance at the rally a “problem” for the Trump team that they likely did not see coming.

“What she did was like a pro. She did that like a pro. That’s where it gets dangerous,” he said, adding, “She fucking nailed it.”

Rogan earned the ire of Trump recently after he praised independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a previous podcast guest, and argued he’s the “only one” in the race who makes sense. While Rogan stopped short of an official endorsement, some reported his words as if they were. Trump took to Truth Social to fantasize about Rogan being booed at the next UFC event he’s at — Rogan has long been a fight commentator.

Rogan has laughed off the Trump dig, but he offered more praise for Kennedy Jr. after acknowledging “everybody got mad at me.”

“Robert F. Kennedy is a guy who just goes after issues,” he said. “He goes after actions, he talks about things. Trump has always in the past attacked. He’s attacked people [and] attacked people.”
