Joan Collins says Hollywood parties are “dull” now as she reveals she only admires a few actors in the industry.

The Dynasty star, 90, has enjoyed more than seven decades in the spotlight, but reckons Tinseltown’s not what it used to be.

Joan was whisked off to the US aged just 20 where she shot to fame in a number of films before bagging the role of Alexis Carrington Colby in 80s hit Dynasty.

But the actress says parties she attends now have none of the excitement of years gone by.

“The parties I go to now are kind of…dull,” she says. “They are red carpet things in which everybody does behave. If you don’t behave now you are going to get cancelled.”

Joan has worked with some of the world’s leading actors, but says there are only four ‘stars’ still left in the industry.

Opening up about who she really rates, she told Best magazine: “I think Nicole Kidman is fabulous and Margot Robbie is one of the great beauties.”

She added Brad Pitt and Keanu Reeves still have oodles of appeal, continuing: “Particularly Brad, he is like one of the movie stars of the Golden Age.”

Joan had her pick of men in Hollywood and has been married five times.

She shares children Tara and Alexander with her second husband, Anthony Newley, and Katy with her third, Ron Kass.

The actress married Percy Gibson, 58, in 2002 at a lavish bash at Claridge’s hotel.

The couple celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2022 in what was dubbed the showbiz bash of the year.

They welcomed their showbiz pals to back to Claridge’s with Joan saying at the time.:“It was fabulous. A perfect night.”

Percy described Joan as: “My angel who came from Heaven” while his wife joked: “Well, he’s still here! We’ve not spent a day apart in 22 years. I call him Perfect Percy, which he hates, and sometimes Big Dog – which he loves.”

The pair recently celebrated Joan’s 90th birthday when they went out for a slap up meal in London as the actress stunned in a fabulously floral frock and cream blazer.

According to Dynasty co-star Emma Samms, who played Alexis’s daughter Fallon Carrington in the hit US soap from 1985 to 1991, Joan is an ‘inspiration’.

She told us: “It is unbelievable that she is going to be 90, but it is also very inspirational.

“She was the first genuinely popular woman of a certain age to be deemed powerful and sexy.”
