Our exclusive poll asked: “Now that independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has suspended his presidential campaign – and now that Kennedy has endorsed former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate – who will you vote for in the upcoming presidential election?”

The question asked only of 250 likely voters who had planned to vote for the independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. before the suspension of his presidential campaign.

“Many months ago, I promised the American people I would withdraw from the race if I became a spoiler. … In my heart, I no longer believe I have a realistic path to electoral victory,” Kennedy said at an event in Arizona.

Kennedy Jr. was a huge supporter of a complete overhaul of the FDA and other medical and food panels that control what people consume and use daily.

“These are the principled causes that persuaded me to leave the Democratic Party and run as an independent, and now to throw my support to President Trump. The causes were: Free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on our children,” he added.

He has floated dropping out of the race for months as he sought a cabinet position or a role in the administration of both Trump and Harris, with Kennedy being promised a role in Trump’s transition team if he wins.

The overlap in issues that the Kennedy and Trump campaign supports gives the endorsement some sense, though, for now, it seems as if it has not led to much of an electoral swing.
